Here at Crisp Catering we have always held great pride in the quality of our food. We offer the tastiest, most cost efficient food in all of San Diego. We separate the cost of extra services, remove all that is unnecessary, and use every dollar left to create dishes you can savor and enjoy. Like a eating at a five star restaurant except you can keep your cash bundled. Our primary market style are corporate gatherings or functions and other mainstream parties where you would use stationed buffet tables rather than wandering servers. We do offer buffet lines with some services: the chef, and approximately one server per station to explain the meal. We also have cost effective tray served food and for the right dollar amount, anything is possible at Crisp, we just have to work out the details. The caliber of food at Crisp is par to the best, that is our main aim, quality over quantity, flavor over succor. If you can dream it, we can do it, at a price that won’t have you cringe, so have your next event filled with some of crisp’s staples.
The Walls wed on the first of October, while under the cyan skies in the Cuvier Club’s bougainvillea garden. The crowd amassed to watch the couple take that final step, say “I do” and then seal it with a kiss. Smiles erupted not just the brides and grooms pursing lips but on every face, cheers rang, and wine glasses chimed.
After all the cheers died down and the tears dried everyone was ready to fill up on the savory meal waiting for them inside. A chef attended traditionally served buffet, with choice of a salad, two entrees and two sides. Not just any salad, entree, or sides: the salad was our signature Crisp Summer Salad – consisting of mixed greens, caramelized walnuts, feta cheese, dried cranberries and a raspberry vinaigrette, The Lemon Herb Chicken – a grilled chicken breast in a lemon citrus sauce with fresh herbs, a tri-tip – served with a white wine butter sauce, the sides – roasted garlic and herb mashed potatoes and grilled roasted vegetables.
During or after dinner guests were free to partake from the many drink choices at the open bar – wine, beer, and champagne – and also at liberty to pick a glass from our martini tree. The reception room was complete with hanging pom poms and paper lanterns, table pieces, and beautiful people – bringing a fullness to the room; but it were the people who brought it to the dance floor. When the dancing died down and everyone was feeling the tug of night, the merry couple went off alone two start a new life together, whether it was just their union or a new one on the way we may well never know.
The bridal bouquet fit for a queen and how regal she looked in her wedding gown.

Kate & Jonathan get married at the Old Del Mar Surf Train Staion
Crisp! Catering & Events recently helped host the celebration of holy union for Kate and Jonathan at Old Del Mar Surf Train Station on Oct. 23, 2010. What a celebration it was. There were 90 guests there to cheer for the newlyweds as they entered in grand fashion. They walked elegantly down the pathway along the hillside that led them in from above. The guests had a great view of the now married couple who unexpectedly began dancing once at ground level to there favorite song. Everyone enjoyed the fun and festivities as the trains just passed on by. Later in the evening there was one freight train that slowed down to a crawl to congratulate the bride and groom with a wave with a smile before cranking back up to full speed on their way northbound. What a treat that was, the action on the dance floor came to a halt and everyone waved and cheered to the conductor for his compassion and good wishes. It was a great time had by all who attended.
I have to say it has been a real pleasure working with you… You have made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I am extremely excited for the day and have been thus far so impressed with your attention to detail that I have recommended you and Crisp! to several other people I know who have recently got engaged.
